Panasonic / US Open Tour

Panasonic’s sponsorship of the US Open of Tennis allowed for a space at the Billie King National Tennis Center in Queens, NY to become an interactive experience while simultaneously showcasing Panasonic’s latest and greatest products.

The main attraction was an augmented reality photo opportunity with tennis player Mardy Fish. Guests entered the photo space and were asked to watch a screen. On screen Mardy Fish would appear with the attendee. A picture was captured and delivered electronically to the guest or posted automatically to a social network.

We also created a camera-sharing program for Panasonic Cameras. This put Panasonic’s cameras into the hands of attendees of the US Open. Once the camera was returned the user was allowed to keep all the images they captured on a branded SD card.
